Welcome to the network! If you are wondering how things work around here, you are in the right place. Here is a simple guide to all the features you can use.
⚠️ A Quick Note: We Are Under Construction!
This site is currently in active development. That means we are constantly building, fixing, and testing things behind the scenes. Features might change, move around, or look a little different from day to day. We will be setting up a special System User account soon—make sure to look out for it, as that is where we will post all official announcements about exciting new updates, changes, and features!

Getting Started & The Community
How do Invites work?
Our network is invite-only to keep the community safe and friendly. To bring a friend or family member onto the site, you must generate a special invite link and send it to them. Once they click your link, they can create their own account, set up their profile, and join your Circles!
What is the Discovery page?
The Discovery page is where you can explore what is happening across the whole network. Remember those public "Flares" we talked about earlier? Discovery is the main feed where all of those public posts show up. It is the best place to read new ideas, find interesting people, and discover new friends to add to your Circles.
Managing Connections & Safety
Can I share a Circle with other people?
Yes! If you put together a really great Circle—like a custom list of your favorite sci-fi authors and book blogs—you can share it with the network. Other users can then follow your shared Circle so they don't have to go hunting for all those amazing accounts and feeds themselves.
How do I Block someone?
If someone is bothering you, you can Block them. When you block a user, they can no longer see your profile, read your posts, or interact with you in any way. You also won't see their posts or comments anymore. It is your ultimate tool for keeping your space peaceful and safe.
Can I remove someone from a Circle?
Yes! You can always change who is in your Circles. If you no longer want someone to see your private updates, just go to your Circles page and remove them from that group. They won't get an alert or notification about it; they simply won't see posts sent to that specific Circle anymore.
Should I Subscribe to a shared circle or Copy it?
When you find a shared circle on the network, you have two ways to interact with it:
- Subscribe (📥): You are tuning into the creator's live broadcast. If they discover a great new feed and add it to the circle, your feed updates automatically. However, you cannot edit the list or remove items yourself.
- Clone to Local (🛡️): This creates a disconnected copy of the circle in your own account. You become the absolute owner and can add or remove anything you want, but you will not receive any future updates from the original creator.
What happens if a creator deletes a Shared Circle I am subscribed to?
You are completely protected. If a creator decides they no longer want to manage a shared circle and deletes it, you won't lose your reading list! The system's "Orphaned Snapshot" safety net will automatically sever the live link and convert your subscription into a Local Copy. It becomes yours to keep and manage.
Profiles & Theming
How do I customize my Profile and Theme?
Your profile is your personal space on the network. By going to the Profile Editing page, you can upload a profile picture (avatar) and write a short bio about yourself. You can also customize your Theme, which lets you change the colors and style of your page to match your personality.
What happens when I click someone's profile picture?
Every post on the site is like a physical trading card. If you click on a user's avatar next to their post, the entire post will flip around in 3D!
What is on the back of the card?
The back of the card shows you the user's profile bio, their stats, and details about who the post was sent to. Because everything is connected, whatever colors and bio you choose in your Profile Theming will automatically decorate the back of your post cards for everyone else to see.
Posting, Privacy & Comments
What is a Flare?
A Flare is a public post. When you post a Flare, everyone on the network can see it on the Discovery page. Because public posts are loud and visible to everyone—just like shooting a flare into the sky—you have to hold the button down for a short countdown to send one. This prevents you from broadcasting to the public by accident!
What are Circles?
Circles are custom lists of people you create. You can group users together however you want—like a "Close Friends" circle, a "Family" circle, or a "Coworkers" circle.
Who sees my posts when I don't use a Flare?
When you write a normal post, you have three privacy choices:
- My Circles: Only the people you have added to any of your Circles can see the post.
- Specific Circle: You choose just one Circle (like "Family") to see the post. Everyone else is locked out.
- Private: Only you can see this post. It works like a personal scratchpad or diary.
Can I turn off comments on my posts?
Yes! Sometimes you just want to make an announcement or share a thought without starting a huge discussion. When creating a post, you can choose to turn off comments completely. People will still be able to read what you wrote and leave a reaction, but they won't be able to reply.
Can I control exactly who is allowed to comment?
You are in charge of your own posts. When you write a post, you can set rules for who is allowed to reply. For example, you might let everyone see a post, but only allow people in your "Close Friends" circle to actually leave a comment on it.
Feeds & The Directory
What is the RSS+ Hub?
The RSS+ Hub is your personal news reader. Instead of checking a dozen different websites for updates, you can subscribe to outside blogs, comics, podcasts, and news sites right here. When those sites post something new, it flows directly into your Hub stream.
Can I build a circle entirely out of RSS feeds?
Absolutely. You can curate a custom reading list of outside blogs, news sites, webcomics, or podcasts by adding their RSS feeds to a circle. You have full control over how you use it: you can keep this circle entirely Local for your own private morning reading, or you can switch it to Broadcasting to share your perfectly curated news hub with the rest of the network!
What is the AI Directory?
The Directory is a giant, organized library of feeds you can subscribe to. When users submit a new feed (like a cool tech blog), our AI system scans it, figures out what it is about, and files it into the correct category for everyone to discover.
Settings, Experiments & Feedback
What is Labs?
Labs is our experimental testing ground. If you visit Labs, you can try out brand-new features before they are finished. Just be careful—features in Labs are still being built, so they might be buggy, change without warning, or break completely!
How do I use the HUD (Tutorial Transceiver)?
The HUD is your personal guide. As you explore the site, little pop-up chat windows will appear in the corner to explain new features to you.
- Draggable: You can click and drag the top of the window to move it out of your way.
- Themes: At the bottom of the window, you can change the audio theme (Default, Woods, Beach, City, or Silent) to change how the pop-up sounds.
- Turn it off: If you already know how everything works, you can turn these pop-ups off completely by clicking the HUD: ON/OFF button at the top of the screen.
How do I leave Feedback?
If you find a bug, have a great idea for a new feature, or want to tell us what you think about an experiment in Labs, you can use the Feedback tool! Sending feedback shoots a message directly to the site admins so we can fix issues and make the platform better for everyone.
