1. Platform Ownership & The Architect
YMTU, including its source code, design elements, interfaces, features, graphics, algorithms, and branding, is the exclusive intellectual property of David Finnerty. You are granted a limited, revocable license to crawl this hub. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, scrape, redistribute, or pirate the stones from these dungeon walls without prior express written authorization.
2. Syndicated Feeds & Third-Party Lore
External RSS and Atom feeds aggregated by YMTU belong exclusively to their respective third-party publishers. YMTU operates as a reader and caching conduit. We claim no ownership over syndicated external writings, media, or trademarks.
3. Content Moderation, Platform Discretion & At-Will Termination
Private Platform / No First Amendment Forum: YMTU is private property. Access is a revocable privilege, not a constitutional entitlement. The constitutional guarantees of free speech apply against government censorship, not inside this private dungeon. There is no constitutional right to host your content on our servers or post inside our Circles.
Unilateral Moderation Authority: All moderation actions—including editing, suppressing, redacting, tagging, or permanently disintegrating posts, comments, or Circle submissions—are executed at the sole, unilateral, and unreviewable discretion of YMTU and its administrator for any reason or no reason, without advance notice, explanation, or liability.
At-Will Account Termination: The system reserves the absolute right to suspend, restrict, ban, or permanently disintegrate any user account, IP address, or session at will, immediately and without cause or warning. No warnings, hearings, or appeals are owed. Keep your conduct clean and your blast radius restricted.
4. Outbound RSS Syndication & Galactic Feeds (RSS)
By publishing content to public circles or marking posts with public audience settings, you acknowledge and agree that your public posts may be packaged into other users' custom circles and outbound Galactic Feeds (RSS) and podcast syndication streams. Just remember: once your broadcast goes out into the galaxy across public corridors, anyone with the signal receiver can tune in. You can opt out of having your posts syndicated at any time by updating your preferences in your account profile settings.
5. Automated AI Classifications
Feed categorization and taxonomy descriptions are processed algorithmically by artificial intelligence. While tuned for precision, AI classifications are provided "as is" without representation or warranty regarding editorial infallibility.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As Is") & Liability
YMTU is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of continuous uptime or uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, David Finnerty and YMTU disclaim liability for any indirect damages, lost data, or collateral damage incurred while navigating the platform.
7. Preview Confidentiality (Non-Disclosure)
YMTU is in a private preview. By using it, you agree not to share the following with anyone outside the preview, in any form, including posts elsewhere, screenshots, screen recordings, and descriptions:
- unreleased features, designs, behavior, source code and plans;
- bugs and security weaknesses you find (please report them to the Architect privately instead of sharing them);
- other members' names, posts, and anything shared with you in a circle or a private post;
- invite codes and invite links you are given.
What is not confidential: information that is already public, that you knew before the preview, that you lawfully received from someone else, or that the Architect has said in writing you may share. If the law requires you to disclose something, you may, and you will tell the Architect first if the law allows.
Feedback: ideas and suggestions you give may be used by the Architect without payment or credit.
How long: This lasts through the preview and until the Architect announces in writing that the preview has ended. After that, the unreleased features and invite codes above are no longer confidential, security weaknesses stay confidential until they are fixed, and other members' private content always stays confidential, because it belongs to them.
If this section is broken: your account and invites may be removed, and the Architect may take other steps the law allows.
